Geekpure 10-Inch Whole House Water Filter Housing for Individuals

The 10-inch whole house water filter housing set comes complete with a plastic wrench, screws, and a metal bracket. It is important to note that the filter cartridges are sold separately. This housing is equipped with a pressure release button for high-pressure situations.

The maximum operating pressure for this housing is 90 psi (6.2 bar), with a suggested working pressure of 50-60 psi. The temperature range for operation is 40-110°F (5-45°C), and the product has a shelf life of 5 years.

To prevent leakage, it is recommended to lubricate the o-ring with silicone grease and use the provided wrench. If this is your first time installing a whole house water filter, you may find it helpful to watch some instructional videos on YouTube.

It is crucial to protect the filter housing from freezing, as this could cause damage. If your water pressure is likely to exceed 80 psi at any time, a pressure regulator must be installed before the filter housing to ensure that the maximum pressure rating is not exceeded. The pressure regulator should be set to 60 psi or less.

The rubber o-ring creates a water-tight seal between the cap and the sump. It is important that the o-ring is properly seated in the groove to prevent any water leaks.
