It's important to note a few important points:

1. If your water pressure is suspected to exceed 80 psi at any time, a pressure regulator MUST be installed before the filter housing. This will protect the housing from exceeding the maximum pressure rating. It is recommended to set the pressure regulator at 60 psi or less.

2. When connecting the inlet/outlet threads, ensure to wrap enough Teflon tape. Additionally, a layer of joint compound or other glue can be used for metal and stainless steel materials, followed by another layer of Teflon tape. This can help fix almost all potential leaks.

3. Before reassembling the housing, remove the canisters from the caps, clean the O-ring surfaces, and re-lubricate them. The rubber O-ring is crucial for creating a water-tight seal between the cap and the sump. Proper seating of the O-ring is essential to prevent water leaks.
