Product Specification:

The maximum operating pressure of this product is 90 psi (6.2 bar), and the suggested work pressure range is 50-60 psi. The temperature range for operation is 40-110°F/5-45°C, and the shelf life is 5 years.

Note:

1. To prevent leakage, please lubricate the o-ring with silicon grease and use the wrench provided. If it's your first time installing this housing, you may find helpful videos on YouTube by searching for "whole house water filter."
2. Protect the filter housing from freezing.
3. This filter housing has a maximum operating pressure rating of 90 psi. If your water pressure is suspected to exceed 80 psi at any time, a pressure regulator MUST BE INSTALLED before the filter housing to prevent the water pressure from exceeding the maximum rating. It is recommended to set the pressure regulator at 60 psi or less.
4. The rubber o-ring provides a water-tight seal between the cap and the sump. It is important that the o-ring be properly seated in the groove to prevent water leaks.

Material and Construction: The housing is made of 100% food-grade polypropylene (PP). The sediment cartridge is used to remove silt, sand, rust, dirt, and other undissolved particles, making it suitable for both residential and commercial applications.

Pack and Fit: This is a pack of 4 standard-size filters, measuring 4.5" in diameter and 10" in height. They are designed to fit all standard 10" whole house water filter housings.

Filtration Performance: The pleated PP sediment filter provides "depth" filtration and removes contaminants more effectively, with a 30% higher performance than normal PP sediment filters. The filter's pleated design increases the surface area and extends the filter life.

Lifespan and Flow Rate: The filter cartridge's lifespan is 6-12 months or 50,000 gallons, depending on usage and feed water quality. The flow rate is 5-15 GPM, depending on the feed water pressure.
