Installation and Maintenance: 1. Lubricate the o-ring with silicon grease and use the wrench provided to prevent leakage. For first-time installation, you may refer to installation videos on YouTube for guidance. 2. Protect the filter housing from freezing. 3. This filter housing has a maximum operating pressure rating of 90 psi. If the water pressure is suspected to exceed 80 psi at any time, a pressure regulator must be installed before the filter housing to prevent the water pressure from exceeding the maximum rating. It is recommended to set the pressure regulator at 60 psi or less. 4. The rubber o-ring provides the water-tight seal between the cap and the sump. It is important that the o-ring be properly seated in the groove to prevent water leaks.
