The filter cartridge's lifetime depends on the usage amount and feed water quality. It is recommended to lubricate the O-ring with silicone grease and use the provided wrench to prevent leakage.

The filter housing should be protected from freezing. If the water pressure is suspected to exceed 60 psi at any time, a pressure regulator must be installed before the filter housing, and it is recommended to set the pressure regulator to 50 psi or less.

The rubber O-ring provides a water-tight seal between the cap and the sump, and it is important that the O-ring be properly seated in the groove to prevent water leaks.

The single-stage whole-house water filtration system is designed to reduce silt, sand, rust, and dirt, and the clear housing allows you to see when it's time to change the filters.
