Important Notes: 1. Lubricate the o-ring with silicone grease and use the wrench provided to prevent leakage. This filter housing has a maximum operating pressure of 90 psi. If your water pressure is ever suspected to exceed 80 psi, a pressure regulator MUST BE INSTALLED before the filter housing to prevent exceeding the maximum pressure rating. It is recommended to set the pressure regulator at 60 psi or less. 4. The rubber o-ring provides a water-tight seal between the cap and the sump. It is important that the o-ring be properly seated in the groove to avoid water leaks.
